While this piece is richly toned, the glowing luster powers right through the toning. An intriguing blend of rich burgandy-red and green toning speckle the obverse and reverse, and there is a gorgeous cresent of bright yellow, ruby red, and green toning along the reverse. The strike is outstanding and this coin has razor sharp, full bell lines, both top and bottom! Just one, nearly invisible tick, which is only visible under magnification, is just barely preventing the FBL designation, but it could easily make it some day! This beauitful coin is exquisite and has much more color and life to it than the scans would suggest.
