Obverse Die Defects:
Very thin die crack from the bust to the inner most point of star 1. Micro crack connecting the outer points of Star 1 to Star 3. Micro crack connecting the inner points of star 6 and star 7. Very thin die crack die starting at the rim above star 7 continuing through Liberty's cap and ending at the rim above star 8. Thin die crack from the rim to the curl and continuing micro thin and terminating at the top of the 3 in the date. Rust marks in the cap above the E in the ribbon, Liberty's cheek, Liberty's drapery, and in the field above the date. This die has been moderately lapped. Very weak denticles all along the rim.

Reverse Die Defects:
Very thin die crack from the left wing tip to U. Very thin die crack connecting the bases of NITED. Very thin die crack from the rim to A1. Thin die crack from the rim to E2 and continuing micro thin to the scroll above the B. Micro thin die crack connecting the bases of STA. Very thin die crack connecting the bases of AMERICA. Thin die crack from the rim to the right leg of M. Very thin die crack from the rim to A3. Very thin die crack from the rim through the bottom of the digit 0 and continuing through the left talons and ending in the feathers. Thin die crack from the rim to leaf 6. Very thin die crack from leaf 6 to the tip of the left wing. Very thin die crack from leaf 7 to the tip of the left wing. Very thin die crack from the rim to the tip of the left wing.
