Captain Clipon's Bio
My first uncirculated coin was given to me by my father when I was 16. It was a 1955 S Lincoln penny. I still have that coin. It has been an amazing experience to watch it age and mellow over the years. It is now a rainbow-toned beauty.
I have been collecting ever sense.
My main collection is my uncirculated Lincoln Cent set. I have completed the Memorial set and am into the 20's on the Wheat Cents. These are raw coins in 2x2 flips. I also have a completed set of raw Kennedy halves.
My certified coins are an odd scattering of mostly NGC Lincolns and Kennedys.
My current goals are to continue working on my Lincoln set and put together a certified set of Lincoln Satin Cents, MS68 or better.
I also love doubled die coins, and have been given credit for finding the following doubled die Lincolns;
These are all 2009 Professional Life Lincolns.
