Professionally, I'm a Quality Engineer and Project Manager. My father piqued my interest in coin collecting, in 1998, when he shared with me his collection of commemoratives. I was fascinated with these legal tender coins that I had never seen! I got started seriously collecting in 1999 when my first son was born. I started with a proof set subscription with US Mint and have since collected every commemorative, proof set (all types) and silver Eagle. My primary collecting interest is commemoratives and then gold and platinum eagles (where my pocket book allows!). I buy only from the US Mint and am now interested in getting certain coins in my collection graded.
