Midnight Sun Collection's Bio
Since I am a resident of Alaska, I have named my collection after the land of the midnight sun. However, the sun is also a key symbol of the types of coins which I collect. At the heart of my collection is a high grade collection of Peru Sols. Sol, is itself, a translation of the word "sun."
Besides Peru sols, I am trying to assemble an elite collection of crowns and gold coins from Central and South America, and the sun is an important symbol in many of these countries.
Finally, I want to put together a small collection of Hart's Coins of the Golden West, which shows the variety and beauty of these small tokens. Many of these tokens also showcase the sun.
