Izzydad's Bio
I am finally getting around to entering some info here. I started collecting in the mid 1950's. One day I went to the local grocery store with my mom and she got an old "V" (well worn) nickel which she gave to me. I was about 5-6 years old at the time. I don't have that nickel any more and have no idea what happened to it. A few years later with my mom's encouragement I mail ordered a couple coins, a 1827 Large cent (probably VF) and a 1834 Bust half (VF), both of those I still have.
I then took about 50 years off from collecting. My collection is dedicated to the memory of my mom.
